K2P25 Childrens Ratios

K2P25 – Familiarity with adult/child ratio requirements, according to regulatory and setting requirements.

Child ratio:-

0-2 years	One adult to three children
2 – 3 years	One adult to four children
3 – 5 years	One adult to eight children
5 – 7 years	One adult to eight children

Within my setting in the school’s nursery and reception class the following ratios apply:-

• One adult to eight children.

Taking children outside setting:-

3 – 5 years	One adult to four children
5 – 7 years	One adult to six children
